I don't normally participate in these "what you are thankful for in life" questions but is about photography. So, I play along. :) I am thankful for getting into shooting film, 35mm and medium format. Film is cheaper and film equipment satisfied my GAS issue. Two, I am thankful for someone I knew sold me a mint condition Hasselblad 553 elx kit (80mm f2.8 ct lens and a 6x4.5 back) for $200!!!!! You couldn't even buy the lens for $200 and let alone the entire working kit in near new condition. Deal like that motivates me to shoot film more.

There are a lot of things in my life that I am not thankful for...but I just let karma doing its business and I would focus on my.

I am thankful for the ability to capture amazing moments. That my love of photography has made me a happier person. I am thankful for all my cameras, from my Nikon, Sony, and even my old 35mm stuff. I am thankful that I was able to capture moments in the lives of my family but most of all I am thankful for the amazing creation we are blessed with and all the amazing stuff we get to see and capture everyday.

I'm thankful for the opportunity to photograph deer, which I will be doing on Thanksgiving Day (and every other day this month).

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

Being an old school guy who developed my b/w film and printed out pictures, I am thankful for the digital development in cameras. I find myself trying so many different shots today that I wouldn't have tried in the old film days.

Just ran across this, it's only a month old, so...

Capturing "moments"...

About 20 years ago, a "moment" with my grandson, using an old film camera with B&W film:

And then, a few years ago, another "moment" -- I love him dearly:

I'm thankful that when my daughter is older and has kids, she can show them what her world and her life looked like from my perspective, in a way, to know what I loved.

Very best,
