Another photo from this summer. I was watching a doe and her fawn come down a ridge in front of me. About 50 yards behind them this buck was following them. In most case the does are very protective of their new fawns, but in this case the fawn turned back and ran over to the buck. The doe didn't seem to mind. It was a peaceful meeting. I was fortunate to get any kind of a decent shot through the tall grass.:-)

Those little buggers are so cute. A bunch of years ago I got to help with an orphaned fawn up at Clark's Fork. Fun memory.

Congrats Mel on you new purchase. I'm sure you are up to the challenge of getting this lens to work for you. Shoot and shoot a lot when you get it. You are blessed to have some great light in your area. Shooting in bad light most of the time is the biggest downfall of using this lens around here. With that being said, I still really like using it. Much luck with yours.:-)
