Curves, layer masks, hue/saturation, channel mixer.

people mistakenly think the reason they can't post process as good as the really talented folks is because they don't know all kinds of secret techniques. Truth of the matter is that as you get better you use the same techniques, you just know how to use them to much greater effect.

So as I said, I don't see anything on his site you couldn't do with curves, layer masks, hue/saturation and the channel mixer tool. A lot of what he's done is practice, and alot more of it is that his photos have well controlled and effectively used lighting to start with. It's not just good post processing you're seeing, it's also good photography.

Believe it or not, most of his stuff isn't likely very heavily post processed. I followed a link from his site and one of his most extreme shots believe it or not was done on film.

Have a feeling it depends on what you think is minimal or heavy post processing...

The first gallery has some layers for texture, and then probably curves, levels, contrast, saturation, channel mixing, dodging, burning, standard retouching for the women, etc. But thats standard.

I don't see any really heavy processing going on.

What I do see is great models, makeup, lighting, mood, and photography skills.

Heavy processing for me is using tons of layers, HDRI, matte painting, restoration, perspective adjustment, etc...

But a lot of planning went into the pictures in this guys gallery, maybe an art director, or he could have an art background. A good makeup artist to.

He's got skill though, thats for sure.

--Edit--
Just went over his website again, and read the "Team" link. 2 Makeup/Fashion artists, one of which was an art makeup director for some business, the other a professional consultant, also on the team is another photographer, and owner of a photolab for printing and film processing. Plus a model to help plan and realize the photos. So, your really seeing the work of 5 people, plus the model. All of which are very talented.

So I would say a whole lot of stuff is put into these photos, post processing being the least of it.
