I have a Rovelight that the sync port is not functioning. I called Adorama where I bought it a few months ago and the lady told me they did not work on them so I ask her who was authorized to perform repairs and she said no one. I said its only three months old, she said I was out of luck. I am really upset, I have wasted my money. Anybody got any ideas that might help me?

hard to imagine that being the case, i'd call back and talk to another rep. Kinda seems like there have been a few instances of things not going right with adorama lately but with some persistence things eventually get sorted out. Maybe wait until regular 9-5 business hours before calling back.

I agree that you somehow ended up talking to the wrong person as far as real answers go. If the warranty is one year, you should be covered. Question is, do you have to talk to the manufacturer to get the warranty coverage. Best bet as mentioned is to continue to pursue it Via Adorama,. maybe at the same time try to contact manufacturer. My guess is that Adorama is the only US distributor.

Adorama told me to return the unit to them if it's still under warranty.

He is the guy for Flashpoint products.

Be prepared to do a video call with him. He knows his stuff.

Yup that doesn't sound right. 1 year warranty and they have always taken care of me.

OMG....ALL Flashpoint products have at least a 12-month warranty!!!

PLEASE email me: Helen@adorama.com and let me know who you spoke to so I can ensure the team manager covers this in training.

I'm guessing a 'seasonal staffing' issue; but not really an excuse......

Got an email today with directions for full replacement or my money back. I think maybe the person I spoke to originally didn't know any better. I am so relieved that they are going to take care of this. I saved for a long time to buy this light.
