Excellent exposures. I have two redheaded girls with fair skin and I still struggle under some light. I'd say the diffused light (with your help) did the trick.

Thank you, Serene. Yes, those fair-skins can be so tough! I was unhappy with losing our sun, but I managed to use it for a few of the girls -- and I like the diffused light as well. :)

Is it just me or does it look like in the first picture that the dog is trying to mimic their smile?

Ha! I know! He's so funny. Love it when the dogs "smile." :D

6, 10 and especially 11 are my favorites, with many others close behind! I've rarely seen brown eyes looking so bright and pretty! And I'm from a brown eyed family. ;)

Thank you so much! I have 11 kids and ALL have brown eyes, so lots of practice. :D

I like these except for the family shots where they're all posed in a straight line. My favorites are the "couples" and "kids" shots.

Thank you! Still trying different things for posing large groups. :)

Alot of the poses are too straight on

Buuut nice variation

Thanks! I try to change things up as much as possible with large groups. :)

I love your session, very classy. The lighting is beautiful.

Thank you! I wasn't happy with the lighting (losing our sun,) but we made it work. :)

Yes, that's tough at times! I try to give them a good sample of each pose without over-doing it. It's always interesting when they like best and it's not always my first choice. :)

I think they're all great, but #1 is the tops for me. How did you manage to get the dog to smile too?
