Using YN622C, YN 622C-TX with Rovelight 600

I purchased some additional lighting, the Rovelight 600, and a YN 622C-TX, which I should receive within the next week. I want to use my YN622C transmitters with it, and my speedlights, 2-430EX II, and a Shanny SN600C. I purchased the 622C-TX from Amazon, and it shows 2 PC sync cords with it. I'm not sure if they are actually included, I'm thinking they are.

So if I place the YN622C-TX on my camera hotshoe, then one of my YN622C on the Rovelight, attached with a sync cord, will I be able to also control the power settings on the Rovelight from the YN622C-TX? I've read the posts regarding using the Rovelight's transmitter to change power settings, but am wondering if it's possible to just not use it all together?

I'm wanting to do a 3 or 4 light setup, and be able to adjust settings on all flashes from my camera. I have enough YN622Cs, for each flash, and have in the past just used my camera menu to change settings.

Hope my question is clear, it's early morning and I've yet to have my coffee, so a little foggy this morning.. ;-)a

No, the Yn setup will trigger the Rovelight but it will not modulate power output. Changing power fractions remotely has to be done with the included Jinbei trigger, 'pre-shot'.

The Yn system offers both X-sync timing and the sync timing associated with HSS (ie early) - this affords the option of 'Supersync' - the Rovelight needs to be operating with its 'H' setting enabled, for Supersync to work down as far as 1/16th power.

I have another question,
The 2 cords included with the YN622C-TX are used for what exactly? One has what looks like 2 male 3.5mm stereo plugs, the second however has a 3.5mm male stereo plug on one end, the other is an odd shaped plug.

THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Please log in to see the good quality stuff.
What would that odd-shaped plug go to?

I believe those 2 cables are shutter releases. Use the remote tx to act as a shutter release or interval timer.

I just bought a set of Yongnuo YN-560IV and am waiting for them to arrive. I have 2 other flashes, a Nikon SB-700 and a old sunbeam I am hoping I can get to trigger from a RX plate. I hear good things about Yongnuo and the price is amazing so I hope they work for me.

I only have the YN transceivers and now the TX, and the transceivers have worked great using them with my speedlights.

Since I'm needing to purchase a sync cord, what is recommended to use to connect one of my YN600C to the Rovelight? Also what length would be best? I'm thinking of hanging the transceiver on the lightstand or possibly attaching it to the light with velcro.

Would this Impact one suffice?B&H Photovideo (external link)

I am thinking 1' would be long enough. You don't want it to be to long that is just asking for trouble.

What unit are you using with the PC sync cable?
