Thanksgiving Day Firefighters

On Thanksgiving Day, a house that had been converted to apartments caught fire a block from my house. Due to the high winds and dried leaves, the fire spread to four other houses totally destroying two of them and the third may be a complete loss as well. Fortunately, no one died or was injured as material possessions can always be replaced. It was quite the sight to behold with all the firefighters present from both city and county along with the other volunteers.

So sorry to see such loss. Very nice set of images though. I hope you'll share these with the local fire dept. They might appreciate such a nice record of events.

Thanks for all the kind words! The wonderful thing about being in a smaller community is so many have rallied around the affected families to get them back on their feet again which is a true blessing for them.
