So the Like came to the right person, but the link in the HU went astray, although the HU shows the correct post number.

Nope. Somebody liked ejenner's post. It appears OhLook was notified (Heads Up!) for some strange reason. Not a complaint, just a possible bug in the forum.

Oh you're right.

Try it now. When I clicked the link you provided in post #4, it took me to your post. You can go back and check the HU again, too. That should also work correctly.

Yes, both links go to the right post now, as does the one in my "What Else Goes On . . ." section. Did you do something, or was the faulty link one of those pesky "intermittents"?

It was an "intermittent", or else "the software knows who's boss" and when I clicked on it it straightened itself out. :{)#

I think it's wavering back and forth. Twice now I've clicked on the link a pair of times, each time the first click took me to the incorrect post, and the second click took me to the correct one.

Curiouser and curiouser. I now get the correct post from all three places: this thread, the Heads Up, and my home page.

May be a connection issue - laggardly connection not loading all the images so your browser brings up the wrong post while the images above it load. It seems to me that AMASS is much less tolerant of slow/throttled bandwidth connections than the old vBulletin software was.
