thanks a lot Al- non- native but very colorful. apparently they are cge birds in Mexico and Central America. I never saw them in pet stores here but we have colonies sprinkled around down here. I only rarely see them but they nest in the park I found the spidalis in. the spindalis is easy to find since he follows these guys around.
