Hi Chet!
Thanks for posting deals -- always a good thing for POTN! I have checked this forum nearly every day for the last 8 years and between POTN and CanonPriceWatch, it's been responsible for me spending tens of thousands of dollars.
As for the links you've mentioned, GetItDigital is supposed to be one of the more reliable sellers of Grey Market gear. Most of what I've learned has come from the wonderful folks at CanonPriceWatch, but in summary:
1) If you're willing to accept the fact that you might not receive any warranty coverage from Canon, and not quite the same ease of returns and customer service associated with the excellent Canon USA internet dealers such as Adorama, B&H, etc, then this Grey Market dealer is a good way to save money.
2) A Grey Market camera body is physically the same camera body that you would receive if you purchased a USA model. Sometimes, you might get battery chargers that are designed to be used in other countries or you might receive the same one that is found here in the US. You might get a manual that is printed in a foreign language, or the grey market dealer might photocopy a US manual for you. No big deal there. Anyone can download the manual from Canon USA, so I don't see that as too much of a factor.
3) Canon USA currently repairs cameras for free if it is within the one-year period, however, this could change at any time. With the on-going lawsuit against the grey market dealers, they may shut-off the free repairs/service sooner than later, but that is just a guess on my part. Most Grey Market dealers offer their own 1-yr warranty in lieu of a Canon USA warranty. You might get good warranty service, or you might not. I would suspect that warranty repair through a Grey Market dealer would take longer than with Canon, but who knows.
4) If you choose to buy a grey market camera from anyone other than B&H or Adorama, eBay is the only way to go since eBay and PayPal offer excellent protection for buyers. Not all eBay dealers are equal though. Some are more reliable than others. More info in the links below. I mentioned B&H and Adorama because both sell grey market gear also, and both offer in-house 1-yr warranties. Both B&H and Adorama are flat-out awesome, and you won't encounter any real issues when purchasing from either one of them, so the buyer protections offered by eBay and PayPal are not necessary as compared to the not-so-known Grey Market dealers.
5) If you buy through eBay, there's a very good chance you'll get one "upsell" call where they try to upsell you to a USA Model. When purchasing through eBay, the upsell call is usually not aggressive and all you have to do is politely decline and then they'll process your order. They do have an eBay reputation/feedback to maintain, so they can't pressure you too much or cancel your order if you decline.
6) If you are uncomfortable with the minor hiccups that could arise from buying a grey market camera, then CanonPriceWatch's Street Price is an outstanding (if not the best) way to buy from an authorized Canon USA dealer.

As for buying from GetItDigital, I'll know very soon. I ordered a Canon 5DsR one week ago and it is on the FedEx truck and out for delivery today! I can hardly wait for him to pull up in front of the house!!
Hope this helps,
Bryan
