Camera Bits has Photo Mechanic on sale for 15% off by using the code ZERO2SIXTY, good now thru December 11th. There is also a free 30-day trial, so you could check it out for a few days since you have until December 11th to pick-up a license at the discounted price using the code above. Just so everyone knows, this well-loved piece of software rarely goes on sale.

I am about to purchase Photo Mechanic, so I have no personal experience with it, but those that use it absolutely love it. In the professional sports and photojournalism environments, it is considered a must-have piece of software. Wedding photographers and wildlife photographers seem to love it as well. The user-interface may look very plain and unpolished, but that is because this program focuses on speed rather than looks, and supposedly, no other software can come close to what this can do.

Here's the link for more details:

I've used it for about a year and a half now and I don't know what I'd do without it - actually I do know - I'd probably still be trying to get through race-weekend photos from two months ago ! Big time-saver!

I'm mainly here for the snacks

Will it allow you to view Sony raw files (ARW) in 100% view?
