If I hadn't gotten in on the triple coupon stack refurb deal I'd be all over this. Best deal I've seen on a new US warranty for sure.

Didn't get a reply to my second email to Adorama either, so I have to assume they don't do the price match after you buy it from them.

Then you still can return it. Good luck.

Adorama strikes again. Sends me running to B&H every time.

I believe the Adorama CS department are a bit behind with answering emails, but I can tell you that we always make every effort to price match to equally reputable retailers - provided you aren't talking about a 'Daily Deal' type scenario.

As always, POTN members are encouraged to email me directly: Helen@adorama.com for faster, more personal service!! ;-)a

Can we ask for your assistance even for non camera related items? Such as laptops? My case was resolved but just thought I ask.

No kidding! Was't the price $700 something? I almost pulled the trigger on a 5D3/7D2.

What was the 7D2 price after tax/shipped?

I purchased the same bundle from Adorama a couple weeks ago. They matched the price by crediting my account a $100 gift card. The only thing that changed is that they had to cancel the additional warranty that was included in the bundle when I purchased but isn't in the current bundle. With Canon offering Carepak Plus with current camera purchases though, it was pointless to have the additional warranty anyway.

Pretty happy to be getting the deal at this price.

Thanks, Helen! I was trying to go through proper channels (the VIP pricematch thingy) instead of bugging you with this, but I emailed you now. I appreciate your help!

So I went ahead and sold my refurbished 7DII, and a day later I jumped on this B&H $1049 deal for the combination (w/rebate).

Just an alert for the group that's going to do the 'pre-submit' online (in addition to the required paperwork and UPC mumbo jumbo). The Promotion ID is not working. Promotion ID for this is 8191368, but confirmed not working in the pre-submit form online. I called Canon and they confirmed this also with no expected time for fix available. Canon rep said to go ahead and send in required forms, receipts, UPC codes as normal.

Also, with these bundle deals, which UPC codes do you send in? all of 'em? Printer, Paper, and Camera? Paperwork seems to only want the serial number of the printer.

You should only cut out the printer UPC code.

On the ones I have sent in in the past, it stated clearly on the paperwork which UPCs are required. Thus far having done 4 or 5 of these kinds of Canon rebate deals, i have never been asked to send in UPC for the paper.

Read your rebate form beginning to end several times!
As I have omitted stuff as well, having made assumptions. Thus far, I've still gotten the rebate despite my own omissions.

I have done quite a few of these and I ALWAYS send the cut-out UPCs from the printer AND the camera, but never the paper. Both is the key word in the Canon rebate terms and conditions literature. Why risk going through the hassle of a rejected rebate claim?

"Original white Proof of Purchase 12 Digit Bar code cut from both qualifying products box, leaving a hole in each box. We must receive the Proof of Purchase with cardboard intact. Do not peel off Proof of Purchase sticker."

Thanks for replying. Can I ask where you get that information from? Instructions state UPC codes need to be included, but doesn't state which UPC codes. All that I see in terms of verbiage is:

"Cut out the 12-Digit UPC Barcode from the eligible Canon product(s) that you purchased."

in addition, from the Claim checklist page:

"Original Proof of Purchase 12-Digit Barcode cut from the eligible product box(es), leaving a hole in the box(es).

the area where the Terms of the Offer is spelled out says the exact same thing as the Claim checklist.

Clear as mud to me.
