Hi, i am trying to take better photos of buildings, etc
Are there any rules of composition etc about this?
I am newbie, pls comment. thanks alot

#1 and #4 have excellent composition, in my opinion.

#2 has the usual problem - either people do not want to back up far enough or they can't go back because there is something that prevents it. The bottom line is that when you tilt the camera up from the level, the vertical lines converge. It can be an interesting effect, but I like to see the buildings standing straight and standing on something.

With no foundation you have a flying building.

I think #3 was taken with a very wide angle lens. With wide angle lens it is especially important to keep the camera exactly level, otherwise there will be strange distortions. In this case the building seems to be tilting downward to the right. I think everyone should be sure to use a tripod with a spirit level built into the pan head.

In all 4 images the sky is very nice and the exposures and color balance are excellent on all.

You are getting tons of linear distortion.. Try keeping the lens parellel to the face of the building.. do not aim the camera up period.. Keep it level..
