Which one is that SP Systems adapter? Thanks.

The one on the right labeled "SP Studio Systems".

A good low profile adapter. I had never had an issue with one until about a month ago when the all 3 pins fell out of the adapter when I was mounting an Eli Fireball to an AD600B. I am going to weld the pins, from the inside, on the rest of my adapters to make sure that does not happen again.

Got to give it a little force in between the clicks to get it to tilt.

There's no budging it. It's stuck

It is a tight ratchet system, but when the release lever is loosened enough you should be able to move the handle easily by hand. It sounds like yours is defective.

If lay down the flash and take out the bolt then you can pull out the handle with retaining part. There is a slot on the sides so when putting back you have to line it up.

To tilt the the normally you need up to two turns of the handle before it budges.

Yes, I can release it and move easily. When it is engaged, it doesn't loosen, so yeah, there's a problem.

I'm not seeing where I can take out a bolt. Can you clarify for me?

When the handle is not moving easily turn it anti-clockwise. This is a completely normal way of working in the world of nuts, bolts and ratchets. -?

Thanks. Yes I saw the only review on B&H which didn't look good. I am thinking of ordering this also hoping it fits.

Yes, i understand that. When I turn it as it's engaged it has no effect.

Then maybe it is stripped out. Since you bought it from adorama, and if it has been less than 60 days they will do an exchange. I had to exchange my first one due to an inaudible recycle beep.

Then you have to look at the other side at the head of the bolt when you turn the handle. If it is turning as you turn the handle the square hole in the fixture is gone.

That's what I am thinking. I have an email in to Adorama. I purchased it 5 months ago so we'll see what they can do for me.

The head of the bolt is not turning when the handle is turned.

Now I am wondering if it's even possible to replace the handle.

Adorama is very good with their customer service and there is a two year warranty on the the strobe. If it can not be repaired I am sure they will replace it.
