1Ds 3 + 1066x 16gb CF&32GB sd small buffer

Hey guys, maybe someone can help me out here.

My 1Ds3 body only gets a 2 shot, via indicator in VF, when I have a two cards in.

Lexar 1066x both cards.
16gb CF
32gb SD

Buffer never shows more then 2 and takes about 1.5-2 seconds to clear after I fill it.

I'm not sure if its a setting or something I need to change but I scoured the manual and it says I sound be getting 12 frames in the buffer.

If your hi ISO noise reductions is set to on it can lower your buffered number of possible shots.
Also check your settings in custom function III (C.Fn III Auto focus/Drive #[17]).
