Dec 17, 2015 19:29 | #5 I think this would look cooler as one of those selective color photos. That purple reflection coming off of the front leaf is really pulling my eyes towards it. Being said, I think your new grayscale photo is really nice!

There were a couple of members who loved flowers and would shoot perfectly centered shots of blooms, generally well exposed but somewhat flatly lit. Totally boring after youve seen one. Not an ounce of creativity involved. Because they were prominent and dedicated members I had to try to be constructive but beyond nice exposure pretty flower there wasnt much to say. Thats your starting point and then you made it worse. I would attempt to be positive but having read some of your criticism of beginners here I'm not inclined.
