Nice picture and looks like a great dressing :D

To me, there are 2 things that took away from the picture - the black / dark spot (rectangle) on the left and the brightness of the bottle's edge on the right :D

Thank you for the comments. I especially appreciate the constructive critique. I'm not very experienced with this type of photography and am not sure how to fix those issues. I imagine I have some lighting techniques to learn! I'd appreciate hearing any ideas. Thanks again.

Am not an expert either :D... but if I were taking this photo, I would use a softer light source (or pull the light source a bit further and put a cloth over it to dim it slightly) so that it will not reflect harshly on the right side of the bottle (seems that your light source is about 45 degrees from the bottle's right). As for the dark spot, am not sure what is causing that... the bottle seems to be clear and does not have any label attached to it. If that is a permanent dark spot, I would just turn it so that it is behind :D
