I had to take a quick trip to Yellowstone on Sunday. Two hours of sleep (night shift) and then off to the Park. It was a great day. This is one of 4 coyotes I spent some time with. These are the first edits from the second coyote. He was very proud of his territory and made sure I knew he was looking at me. I was able to sneak in a bit and get some. These are mostly uncropped. Thanks for taking a look. Cole

Here is an HDR BW edit I tried. I like it. What do you think....

Wow, super shots, nice you could safely get so close. He has a magnificent thick, healthy coat and does look very proud. Personally I prefer the colour versions, but hey, why not experiment!

Beautiful pictures! I'm not a fan of B&W in general , my problem not yours . I'm an old guy and when I was a kid there was no color. When color came out I just loved it and still do.

I quickly got used to the weight, and I am really enjoying the lens. Hope to see some of your results soon!

A different coyote that crossed the road behind me. I was able to get shot of him before the sage brush and snow swallowed him up.
