Any Indra users here? Do any of you have a system to attach battery to stand?

I wrote Phottix but don't expect a response LOL about creating a bracket like this for the Indra battery. Do any of you guys have a system? I hate it just hanging.

Carol, are you using that bracket with the Indra500 battery? How are you attaching it without a clip?

Could you perhaps post a photo of what that setup looks like, with a focus on the battery and bracket? Thanks. :-)

You can use the strap included with the Indra and either just hang it on the clip or buy an S hook at any hardware store and hand the battery strap from it or loop the battery stap through the clamp. I have done all of the above and it works great. That clamp is very sturdy.

Cool.

For now, I tend to keep my setup really quick, easy, and mobile. I simply hang the battery from its own strap attached to one of the light stand knobs. Ironically, the battery is such a lightweight that it doesn't really help stabilize anything at all if there's a light breeze.

The constant battle between wanting to remain mobile versus maintain stability and safety. :-)

For extra stability I have empty sand bags and I throw a 24 oz Poland Spring water bottle on each side. It makes a nice counter weight for a boom stand too. Easy and simple to pack up too.

I got this response from Phottix:

Dear Sir

We will have the bracket soon.

Regards
Laurence

That would be nice to have Phottix produce something more specifically fitted for their own battery.
