Good stuff here. You capture them well. Only thing I would do is recrop the 4th image in the first set, the framing doesn't do if for my with the unlighted fireplace taking up most of the dead space.

the toning on the b/w one s is a bit extreme for my tastes but the content is very good. you have very good subject isolation which makes them stand out and gives a very solid high quality feel to them.

it looks like you added blur to the 4th image which makes it seem awkward.

watch your shutter speeds, you are going to get subject blur dipping that low. the flash helped you out but you'll have more keepers if you keep the shutter up.

i did and it was not supposed to be a final photo. I did not like it myself, but uploaded here by mistake. If you see the cropped version of it, the added blur is gone Not sure if I like it too much cropped. I need to re-process it as it is a bit soft, especially on his eyes :D
