The girls love decorating the house for the holidays, and I enjoy watching them have so much fun. I am always up for C&C. It's the only way to learn and improve.

Thanks, and Happy Holidays

Fantastic! These make an excellent set :)

#1 is a little colder and underexposed compared to the rest, and as such it doesn't pop like the rest. That's my only nitpick.

That's a great series. I really the lighting on #4, but I'm not wild about the low contrast look.

I'd consider cropping the first image the same as the second image as far as the bottom edge. Having the dress come to to the edge seems more natural to me than having just a little bit of the young ladies legs showing. If it was a much more distant shot, it wouldn't matter (4th image is fine in that respect) but in comparison, it shows.

Something I read about family portraiture (much more formal than the intent here of course) was to generally not have subjects wear shorts, only long pants. The human eye is drawn to skin, but in family portraits it is the face that is most important. Hence, the long slacks and often khaki or white colors seen on the genre. It's that thought line that would draw me to crop tighter on some images. Just one opinion though.

I only use LR to edit. I would adjust WB in the first and brighten the image. I shoot a lot of very mixed lighting (concerts) and debate with myself constantly what is the best for a particular image. I typically will click the WB tool on the white of the eyes, teeth or a white wall and go from there.

The compositions on them all is very nice. #5 is nice image of togetherness, classic! Wonderful smiles, emotions etc. You have to love a pic of a kid holding a camera. Good set!
