I saw a TC - DC 58N reduced to $50.00 at the local Wolf dealer and was wondering if it has much advantage on a G6? I already have the lense converter.

Thanks,

Jack

The TC-DC58N is a great teleconverter and that's a great price. When you say you already have the lens converter, do you mean you have the lens adapter? If so, you can't lose. If you don't like the teleconverter, you can definitely sell it for at least $50 on eBay. (You'll probably get $75 for it.)

You have to be realistic as to how much closer it will bring you. If you go to: http://www.lensmateonline.com/newsite/G6G5G3tele.html (external link) , you'll see examples of shots taken with and without converters.

I use my TC-DC58N all the time.

Michael

Thanks Michael -
I would have never found that link either. Yes, I do have the adaptor as I use it with a Hoye infrared lense. I am off to Wolf's.

Thanks again

Jack

Ditto. I have one, and love it. Good find!
