Using PS CS 6 Curves tool I darkened the image to increase mood. Image hosted by forum (764152) © TonyKInTexas [SHARE LINK] THIS IS A LOW QUALITY PREVIEW. Please log in to see the good quality stuff. But the sand/sky/water is flat. maybe a gradient or burn, making the far and mid left much darker so it really moves your eye to the figure and shadow. the shadow seems to get lost when the whole thing is cropped and darkened. That would also hide the water "sidewalk" in the left, which really just detracts. multidisciplinary visual guy, professor of visual art, irresponsible and salty.

I only had a screen shot to work with so couldn't push it but you get the idea. https://instagram.com/shintarodesign
