First trip to Bosque del Apache

Spent last week in Socorro NM visiting the Bosque - was really impressed with the number of birds that come there for the winter - the cranes and snow geese are spectacular with their massive take offs and landings - was fortunate enough to get a couple of sunsets with the birds too

Sandhill cranes are awesome. I saw a huge flock in a field here this morning and what a ruckus they can make!!!!
