I haven't been active here for a long time, just super busy. Great shots everyone!
Here is mine. I had to paint A tree on canvas 3x5" with real light, glass ornaments and tinsel; I have a wild cat climbing EVERYTHING, so no real tree for us :)

Okay folks it's time to judge the photos:

M-Six, I like the colored light bokeh.

AirFrog, another good bokeh shot with foreground interest.

Benitoite, one can never go wrong with a flag photo.

teekay, this photo reminds me of home back in my younger days.

Jason, your photo makes me long for summertime at the beach, and it's not even winter yet.

Renata, a very unique composite piece of art. Hope your client liked it.

Frank, another nice composite shot. Like those twinkling lights.

I have to give the nod to Reneta, aka itsallart, I really like the colors and the abstract feel of this photo. You're in charge of the next DCSC.

Second place goes to teekay, this photo feels so much like home to me.

Third place is a tie between M-Six and Airfrog, like those bokeh shots.

Thanks for the entries this week. A nice group of photos everyone.

Hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a great holiday season.

Congratulations to Renata, and thanks for the #2 spot, OldCrow!

Jason, I really liked your ocean paddleboarder, noting it was taken on Christmas Day 2013!

Don, thank you so much! I love every single entry; all of them are very creative!
This tree was painted on a huge black 3x5' canvas for us. We have a climbing wild cat and a dilemma, so I painted a tree, punctured holes from the back, inserted tree lights (300!), attached real glass ornaments and now we have a painting of a tree hanging above a fire place. Missy has 0 chance :)
In the meantime, I received 5 orders from cat lovers to paint trees like mine for sale. I'm in business :)
I will post something as soon as I have received a message from Don with some details :)
Thank you again :)
