Jon & Nikki Maternity

Hey guys, been a while since i have done a maternity session. My good friends are expecting their first child after many years of trying, and dealing with infertility etc. So when they finally got the great news, i offered them a session on me. Here are a few pics from the session. I will post more when i get home. This is all i have on my FlickR at the moment.

I like everything about this.... their expression, connection, clothing, lighting... great job

3rd one for me by far. I might just pump up the contrast a bit in their pants, but that's me. it's a great image .

I find the first one to distant (vacant?) but maybe that's what you were going for. In the second one those few stray highlights and the OOF brush in front of her belly (the real subject of the shoot presumably) distract me. That's a 2 second fix in PS though . Just my opinion though so take it or leave it .

I agree with IPTAK, the third one is definitely the best. I find the first one very detached, especially with the fact she almost blends in.

Very nice. 3rd is my favorite one.I would remove the headstick from the first one.

These are really nice photos but I'm not sure about some of the processing. The general colours are good but it looks like you've tried to add extra flare and a red glow from the left which isn't working for me. Keep it nice and warm and natural and you'll be on to a winner.
