Assuming your car is as smooth as possible but you still need additional support for your camera....what would you use?
For example shooting a moving car thats driving next to you...

As soon as you would brace it against a portion of the vehicle you would introduce undesirable motion.

The BBC used Citroen's for over 25 years for their horse-racing coverage using bumpy tracks and there was no such thing as stabilisation for video - they got very smooth sequences though! Life is for living, cameras are to capture it (one day I will learn how!).

LOL!!! There's a great BBC documentary series about Paris. One of the episodes had a section on French filmmaking in the '60s. They showed how they would take the lid off the Citroen's boot (which is in front) and there was room to set up a tripod and stand and shoot from there. I wish I could find the clip...
