Hi,
Which of the 5D vs 6D is more friendly with manual lenses? I shot mostly with manual (samyang, takumar, mamiya, etc.) and my 5dc just died and I am looking for a replacement.

Also does Magic lantern on any of those allow for focus confirmation point without a chip on the lens?

Best regards,

Primes:
Bower 14mm 2.8, Takumar 28.mm 3.5, Bower 35mm 1.4, Takumar 50mm 1.4, Canon 50mm 1.8, mamiya 55mm 1.8, Samyang 85mm 1.4, Meyer-optik 135 2.8, Mamiya 135mm 2.8, Takumar 135mm 3.5, Mamiya 400mm 6.3
Zooms:
Canon 28-105mm 3.5-4.5, Canon 100-300mm 5.6L.

ML does not do anything for the focus points in the camera. Using live view, you can use the focus peaking to get an idea of where your focusing plane is. Because of that, the better LCD on the 6D will make is easier to use.
