I hear you...I've done over 100 shots today in all manner of light with all manner of targets...consistently resulting in front oriented focus while in AF. MF results seem fine...thanks for reminding me.
Yes, I know it's not perfect, but, I don't shoot in VERY well lit areas all the time with constantly contrasty subjects...respectfully, and I mean it.
Also, for $4K, the darn thing ought to be giving me a kiss while I am shooting...at least for the first week!
