Rework of The Trifid

I thought I'd apply some more recent processing skills to some older images. This one ws taken with a Meade 10 inch LX200R Schmidt-Cassegrain on a Losmandy G-11 (unguided). Camera used was a Canon 20D (unmodified). f/6.3 • ISO 800 • 30 x 3min combined. No darks or flats applied.

It's still softer than I'd like but I recall the atmosphere being poor that night so that likely played a role. What I was trying to achieve mainly was to improve the color and detail in the dusty areas.
