I know the lens hood does a good job of protecting the front element but a slip over or elasticated cover would be more convenient than the standard leather cover that comes with the lens... Does everything a brand name would do, for a small fraction of the cost. in fact I have two, one to go directly on the lens, and one that fits the hood when installed. Dec 25, 2015 18:52 | #5 I like the Don Zeck lens caps, I had one for my 600 F4 L is, unfortunately they are a bit over priced. They are very good but a lot of money for a piece of plastic a and 3 "O" rings! Life is for living, cameras are to capture it (one day I will learn how!).
