Wow! This is an incredible deal!! I don't remember ever seeing the Pelican 1514 (w/ padded dividers) for $120 delivered. Not saying it didn't exist before....I just recall the best sale price being around $150-$160 at B&H. Regardless, I just ordered one via the awesome link that Justaddwata provided.

These cases are excellent and the perfect size. They are airline carry-on compliant in size (probably not compliant weight-wise by the time you load it up, but usually easy to conceal) and they are practically indestructible. This will be my 4th Pelican 1514....yes, I love then that much. If you're even remotely in the market for a Pelican 1514, click the buy button on this immediately and think later. You will never find a deal better than this!

Thanks Justaddwata!
Bryan

Thanks for the heads up! Just ordered the 1514 w dividers. Nice that my class gave me a gift card from Amazon for Christmas to bring the price down even more!

Can the 300EF F2.8 fit in the 1514 easily? Do they have any case just for this lens and a camera?

Had the 1514 in my Amazon cart, switched over to PS work on some pics for a while, then just missed the cut-off time apparently before ordering. Dang it!

Ditto and used it to travel back from Phoenix to Seattle. Much better than slinging a heavy loaded shoulder bag!

Got mine too. The deal on this does not get any sweeter!

My arsenal of Pelican 1514s is now up to 4. I love these things!

Very nice HairyBee! The lid organizers are great. They really expand the usability of the case.

Cheers,
Bryan

Finally received my case. The tracking said delay of delivery possibly due to weather or natural disaster. Either the flooding or ice then snow here in MO would qualify, poor UPS driver brought it in a 4wd pickup truck that belonged to his supervisor.
It is much heavier than my soft back pack and barely held everything but it does appear to be rugged and I need that in many of my travels.

For those looking for a case that is somewhat similar, but much cheaper, here is a case on Monoprice. I just picked one up, free shipping as well.

I am not traveling with this case, I have the pelican for that. This is going to hold my 2 new Streaklights, accessories and 2 580EXII flashes, in something more stout than soft cases. For this, I am willing to go cheap. :)

I love pelican cases, and for $120, I would have picked up another 1514, but now that the prices are back up to $160+, this seems to be a good alternative at $81.
