Strange Issue= please help!

You have bracketing set at +/- 2/3 stops. This can be seen by the two shorter bars either side of the larger centre bar that shows the base exposure compensation.

I posted a view of a screen on my 5d3 for the OP. No issues on my side :)

Make sure to establish if it works with a Canon lens or not first, before you take any other action. Occasionally, accessories manufactured by other manufacturers don't work the way they are supposed to do.
