Strange Issue= please help!

You have bracketing set at +/- 2/3 stops. This can be seen by the two shorter bars either side of the larger centre bar that shows the base exposure compensation.

That was somebody else posting an example.... It doesn't say thread starter under the person's name that posted the image.

I posted a view of a screen on my 5d3 for the OP. No issues on my side

D'oh. Next time I will take more time to read the posts properly. ߘ

Make sure to establish if it works with a Canon lens or not first, before you take any other action. Occasionally, accessories manufactured by other manufacturers don't work the way they are supposed to do.
