It sucks when the weather doesn't cooperate. I had a similar experience in Carcasonne France.

Dull day images can be great candidates for conversion to black and white.

Hi Peter/C,

Well, you should have visited on a fine day, like we did in July 2011!! I was surprised when browsing POTN last night to come across your picture, and I thought I recognised the scene from our visit in 2011 - sure enough, from almost the identical spot.
