That's about it, Levina! My back begins to really bother my after an hour or so pruning, planting and weeding and cleaning out beds.
I have a very large yard.

Mostly, I think I'll just sit on it and open a bottle of something :p

Oh, good idea, Jo! I want one too! I don't have a garden but I can totally see myself sitting on it, bottle at the ready, photographing people on the street.

gardening under the influence

This made me laugh so hard! :-D
Just be careful not to drive it under the influence! Because the thing does have wheels! :p

Funny..

In the Directions description of the "vehicle," it states:

"...hefty steel frame and pneumatic tires, ensure a stable and sturdy ride"

RIDE??! .. like I'm going to hook it up to the back of the car or something  :p
or use the lawnmower, or attach my electric scooter motor....

....hey ;-)a

Hey, Pete, do those go with the new guitar??!

They do indeed. Never have been much of a finger plucker:rolleyes:

OhLook wrote in post #17837095 (external link)
Lots of 'em. They look pretty similar, but do they sound different?

Different thickness and size. The guitar does indeed sound different depending on which one you use. The thicker ones tend to ring out a more crisp note

LOL. Although when I first saw the picture I wondered if it was meant to be hooked up to something.

Just a quick shot of some new cheapo booties I picked up this week. They're amazingly comfortable.
I used light painting, so colour is a bit on the cool side.
And now I really have to go to bed. It's after 2:30 a.m. Way too late to be up.

I see Levina got some new shoes this week too. I stopped by Costco and saw a deal on some wintry boots the other day. However the box is apparently a big hit with the kitties. Several times today I've found 2 of my kitties in the box at the same time, one in the top and one in the bottom. More proof that cats love boxes. Apparently this one is a "Goldilocks" box... not too big & not too small.... it's just right!

Here Junior & Muffin are its current occupants.

Maybe I'll actually take a pic of the shoes too, then Levina & I can compare winter booties. :-) I can tell you hers are more fashionable than mine...

I may be fascinated with volcanoes, but the name's Lisa.

Shamefully, I have to ask. What is this shiny new thing? Part of a player piano? The insides of a music box?

That was a lucky find, assuming you can tolerate heels that high. The insides look cozy.

Oh? You did fine with that shot.

I planted parsnip seed for the first time this fall, and the plants just started to come up (parsnips are slow). Here are new seedlings of a new crop.

Happy New Year, everybody!!

Where I am we are now exactly one hour and 30 minutes into the New Year. Obviously I have no choice but to post a few fireworks shots! I'm not very good at it, especially since I'm shooting from my bedroom window, over the rooftops, hoping I get lucky and will have the lens pointed at the right spot, but here are two shots.

This looks like a new type of fireworks but it's just twirled in the air and this is how the camera caught it.

And a bit of colour. Too close, but this is fireworks all by private people all over the place, so it's a gamble. :)

Lisa, I love the synchronous kitties. So sweet.

Stina, congrats on the new gear! I'm sure there's a learning curve, but that is already a very nice shot indeed!!

OhLook, I had to look up "parsnip". The young leaves look so delicate.

Paul, those are lovely landscape shots.
