J & M have identical facial expressions. Either they're related or they happen to have the same liking for photography . . .
I didn't notice the similar facial expressions at first. They are not related, though they are both rescued strays from the neighborhood. I'm pretty sure they're not related though since I know they had different mommas. They are quite different kitties with very different personalities.

Happy New Year, everybody!!Where I am we are now exactly one hour and 30 minutes into the New Year. Obviously I have no choice but to post a few fireworks shots! I'm not very good at it, especially since I'm shooting from my bedroom window, over the rooftops, hoping I get lucky and will have the lens pointed at the right spot, but here are two shots.
This looks like a
new type of fireworks but it's just twirled in the air and this is how the camera caught it.
And a bit of colour. Too close, but this is fireworks all by private people all over the place, so it's a gamble.
Happy New Year, Levina! The folks around me were going nuts with fireworks tonight too. You did well at capturing some action. Really like the second one.
Nice snow shots, KB. I'm glad it's not that cold around here right now.
So I had a little more fun with the kitties and some new year decorations tonight. Needless to say, they didn't particularly care for them. Kosmo was the best sport, but he made it clear what he thought of it.
Morry came by to check things out too.
Junior and the little New Year hat (sense a pattern with it not on their head?)
And another new year brought in with sparklers and some light writing.
Happy New Year to all! I hope we all have a great 2016!!
