I had my Tammy 24-70 VC for about 3 hours before I decided to sell it. Range is too limited, size is too big, aperture is too slow. At f/2.8, my 28 1.8, 35 IS, 50 STM and 85 1.8 are all sharper, smaller, and can go faster if I have the need. Nothing wrong with the lens; it just isn't for me.

which is why it's perfect for flashing... you don't need faster for flash for event stuff.
