Dartford Warbler. Poor light hence ISO5000 and 1/500 but it was close as this is full frame at 600mm

Lucky you! The closest I have managed was this Dartford fledgling a few years ago. It, and its 3 siblings, were jumping around in the gorse, waiting for Dad to bring them food, and I just managed to find a gap in the branches for this shot.

When I was in NZ I only focused on one bird....sadly before my real photography days....a Royal Albatross. And in my current mind-set having seen is just not enough=no pic, didn't happen!
