American Goldfinch.

As common as these birds are, this is my first decent shot of one, as I find them very difficult to approach. This one landed close by as I was watching another bird.

I went back out today to shoot the shorebirds again...waited until later in the day, hoping the water would look less brown...it worked out ok...this Eastern Willet didn't let me get in his way of his favorite feeding patch...this was full frame on the a9, no cropping...
