Thanks! I had not noticed the green tinge, but can understand. This was right after the sun set behind me and all of the light was being filtered by the trees.

One way to combat that in post is an adjustment layer masked for just the bird, reduce the greens on that layer, then it wont affect the rest of the greens in an image.
