This shot was one I got last year. I noticed a pair of kingfishers flying around where I keep my boat. I observed them for a few weeks and noticed (like most birds) that they are habitual and were landing on the same perches. So I set up a blind near one of those perches and waited. Took some time, but it paid off in the end.

Wonderful shot David...I want to get one of those guys sooo badly.
