Hi Bianchi, Its spelled Anhinga. Not trying to be nit-picky but if you spent that much time on the border I thought you would want it to be spelled right.

Bill, that's a sterling hummer shot. I think you're mistaken about the eye. I believe that one is definitely winking at you.

It's hotter than Hades out here too. We are supposed to have a 3 week plus stretch of 100 degrees or hotter. I'm not getting much photography done. I did go outside, and attempted some macro stuff, but gave it up after about an hour (was soaking wet with sweat :-().

Seems to be a Worldwide thing with the xtreme heat, same over here in the uk, I have also noticed that the sun is setting in a slightly different location, instead of setting in the west (like I always remember) It looks like it is setting more due south.

There was so much gravitas at the Trump-Putin meeting that it tipped the earth on its side.

Still waiting for the wisdom they promised would be worth getting old for.

Thank you very much Pag. So much of good timing is really good luck. The nice lighting certainly made the shot work out for me.

The world is certainly undergoing climate change Pag, but dang, the sun is supposed to set in the west...that shouldn't be changing.

Oh my goodness Matt...They're not supposed to eat praying mantis's. :p They are my favorite insect.
Nice shot, by the way.
