Three for the price of one, though they refused a group picture.

Come wind, rain, hail (5 minutes previous - you can see their feathers are still wet) or sun these three Gang Gang Cockatoos - 2 male and one female - were not going to let anything distract them from their feed in a local park a couple of streets from where I live.

They were totally unfazed by me walking around and under the tree they were in - these are uncropped.

I drove right by this guy this morning, but luckily he stayed put when I circled back. Sitting on a fence beside the road at Point Reyes National Seashore.

Getting closer to landing my perfect Greenie shot. I'm needing to cut out a shooting lane through some brush so that I can get a lower angle on this log that sticks out into the water, in order to eliminate the blown out highlights in the water.

That's a nice shot. I was going to suggest a polarizing filter but they are expensive for such a lens and they cut out half the light from your subject as well so you would need to increase your ISO or use 1/500 second exposure.

I have the drop-in filter, might have to give it a try next time I'm shooting near that pond :)
