Really Mike, I don’t like the sun on my subjects, or the blown peace’s of the image. I do like the contrasting vibrancy of the light in the rain. You can have the sunshine... I’m sticking with the rain.


Interestingly..... I love to shoot in complete white out snow conditions as well.. just a little nuts I guess

I can relate to that.
Beside the photographic aspects of such, there's something I find quite peaceful, but perhaps more the scenic beauty that is there for those willing to forgo a bit of misery. If misery is what one calls being out in that stuff

Is it he or she? Here our male Robins, Wrens, Tits etc are the highly coloured. Poor girls just standard greys. :-(
