Wonderful, sharp Chickadee shot, Robert. I notice his foot is tied to the limb. That's a great idea to keep them from flittering off while trying to shoot em.

Thank you very much Richard; and no; actually he was about to step on it I think. When I look up from my camera, the bird was flying away, and I never saw the bee again. In the viewfinder, it did not appear as though the sandpiper was planning on eating it. I don't really think he even saw the bee. Knowing that sandpipers are carnivores, he could have snatched up the bee, and I just never saw it happen.
