When I look up from my camera, the bird was flying away, and I never saw the bee again. In the viewfinder, it did not appear as though the sandpiper was planning on eating it. I don't really think he even saw the bee. Knowing that sandpipers are carnivores, he could have snatched up the bee, and I just never saw it happen. LD, or Mike
