Sensational looking shot, Sidknee. You nailed that beautifully.

Thank you for the compliment, Mike! It does require a lot of patience waiting for actions to happen. I love shooting birds doing 3 things: eating, fighting or mating. If doing those 3 at the same time, the best, :-P:lol: :p

I sure hear you on the 3 things you like to capture. You do well at all of them.

And speaking of the 3 things you like to do; you did it again. Very nice Shalu. :-D

Yup, sure is, Mike. It's even more like your Common Gallinule. In fact, I've no idea how you'd tell the two apart.

What a cool shot, Robert. I'm sure glad fall and winter both, are just around the corner. I am not a summer person.

Bugs, heat, humidity. We live in a Zika research facility too :( I think we have

Lovely, sidnee. Your shots just go from strength to strength. Mine just get worse! :-)

Thanks Jack, very kind of you to say so :)

Those are two great shots, Melissa. That hawk is practicing for the "real thing." It's quite unusual to get nice shots like those.

Thanks, Mike. I wish I hadn't have been so close and clip his wings in the second shot. But, he surprised me while I was shooting portraits of him.

Very nicely photographed.
Has he got a collar?
Looks like he's squawking for breath?
