Juvenile Citrine Wagtail. This is a rare bird in the UK. I had to wait a long time for this to appear and when it did it turned up at point blank range, but was horribly backlit against the glaring mud. Unfortunately the hide I was in was the only viewing point available, so there was no alternative.

I don't know how you do it Shalu. You get sooo many great predator catching prey shots (including this one of the cormorant). You must only get a couple hours of sleep a day. LOL :lol: Seriously, your photos are outstanding.

Your compliments are always appreciated, Mike! OK, let me tell you my secret of getting these shots. There is a pump near the edge of the man-made lake that gets water from the bay, and there are often small fish that come in with the water. So those birds often come near the pump outlet to hunt for fish, and we photographers just wait there to capture the actions  :p
