As much I want it a natural perch, I could not resist to take a picture of this beautiful Common Belted Kingfisher.

Sure is a lovely bird.
I guess it's all natural to them. They don't see what the concern is.
Hadn't really thought much about that, but now I do I'm realise I'm the same.

Well, they all look darned good to me. If anything, the x2 performed better than the x1.4. What did you use for noise processing?

Not brilliant as the sun had gone down (too slow a shutter speed) but I grabbed the camera quick and banged off a few shots hoping for the best as I was just happy to see my new bird bath being christened

They breed here Doc.. both are here all year except the coldest months. I was shooting the eagle and a cloud of warblers flew in around me.. you could waste an entire camera shooting the black and white.
