Ed it is not only about the perch, techs etc. Sometimes seeing species we have never seen is just amazing. The Blue Dacnis is one of them. A great sighting my friend.

Thanks Rob and everyone. I knew about these birds but have not seen one on multiple trips to CR. I was in someone's back yard when it showed up briefly. Just amazing.
