I was in the same boat too, thought all sparrows were the same, common bird, but eventually discovered they’re a quite varied species. Not as numerous as Warblers, but there’s a good number of cool looking Sparrows.. in particular I hope to someday see a Fox Sparrow. It is now, Shooz ‘ol buddy
